23+ dahlia seeds - open pollinated and collected throughout the Dahlia Patch. These mystery pods were picked as a "good one" then forgotten about in my pocket or possibly a bunch that I promised I wouldn't forget the seed parent/form but here we are. Where these seed came from, no one knows!
Dahlia seeds are a fun and exciting way to be surprised in the garden with each and every new bloom. No 2 seeds will create the same plant nor will they be a replica of the seed parent itself. If you love surprises, growing dahlias from seeds may be for you! Try your luck at creating a beautiful, never before existed, dahlia variety!

Germination Rates:
Germination rates for dahlia seeds greatly vary and are considered to be extremely low in comparison to other types of flowers. Expect an average of 50% and in some cases as low as 30%. Seeds collected in the fall of 2023 have not been tested but in previous years germination rates exceeded expectations.
Seed Quanity:
Seed Quantity was measured out by a 1/2 teaspoon "Dash of Kindness" but has a minimum of 50 seeds, however is expected to have more and in some cases close to 100 seeds.
