Seedling Showcase

Growing dahlias from seed has quickly become one of my favorite ways to enjoy the beauty of dahlias! There is never a shortage of surprise when seeing a new dahlia bloom for the very first time.
Below are a few seedlings from the last couple of years from seeds collected from my farm.

Breeding (and growing) dahlias is still very new to me. I hope to continue to improve my skills (and luck) growing from seed. I don't expect any of these to go on to become the next new "unicorn" in the dahlia world but wanted to give you some examples of what some seeds have turned out to be from my farm should you be interested in purchasing seed. Of course no two seeds will ever turn out to be exactly the same or an exact replica of the seed parent. Your odds of a fully double dahlia are much lower within the Collarette, Anemone and possible Tier 5 seed category.
Dahlias grown from seed will also produce tubers.
Ultimately I would love all seedlings documented and in their own display on this website.
