The flower heads can get as large as 3.5-4 inches in diameter and the plant itself is also 3.5+ feet

*no germination tests have ever been made. This is purely for entertainment purposes only* Clearly it can not be above 100% although it seems like it is. Realistically I would estimate in the 90+% range.
In my personal garden, I started with about 35 California Giant Marigold Plants in Year 1, saved all those seed, and by year 2 had thousands of marigolds...Take a look at my field of Gold below, that was "Year 2" (and that was only 1/2 the field)...
